The temperature is 22 degrees. It is lightly snowing and there is now about 1 inch of snow on the ground. Looking like snow is here to stay!!

Another run!

Well, the snow has temporarily melted, so I'm off on another supply run into the lodge! Weather is supposed to be excellent this weekend! Highs expected to be 48 and clear! We have rooms available, so get your last road trip of the year on the Denali Highway! Please do your own research on conditions before travel!

Snow hits Alpine Creek Lodge!

While at the lodge Saturday, we woke up to snow!! It was snowing all day, and we decided it was time to leave for the winter with our vehicles at 5pm. Let's hope for lots of snow early, so we can get the machines out and go riding! We encourage you to book soon so you can have your weekend on the Denali Highway reserved! Claude

We are located at mile 68 of the Denali Highway, directly between Cantwell and Paxson Alaska. This is in between the headwaters of the Susitna River and the Maclaren River, and the lodge is in the Clearwater Mountains. From the lodge, you will have views of many lakes, and hundreds of square miles of Alaska. Alpine Creek, which flows right past the lodge, is an artesian creek with some of the best water you've ever tasted.

The lodge is located near many ATV trail heads. The abandoned Valdez mine is a short ride way, and offers a historical look at the turn of the century town of Denali.

There are many hiking trails and the Arctic Grayling fishing is some of the best in Alaska.
