As of April 1st, we are starting our spring maintenance.  The rates will change to a flat $75 per night per person in the main lodge, and that will include all meals, but you may have to prepare them yourself on the antique wood fired cook stove!  The trappers cabin will remain the same.  We are very busy this time of year, so we appreciate your patience up front!  We still have openings for April, and the days are long and the riding is excellent!  We expect the bears to be coming out of their dens soon!  Check out Game Management Unit 13 for spring hunting around the lodge!  We encourage you to do your part to help fish & game work on predator control! The eruption of Mt Redoubt brought ash to much of South Central, even as far North as Healy.  We did not see any ashfall at the lodge or along the Denali Highway as of yet.  Keep checking the Alaska Volcano Observatory website for the latest updates and check with us for local information from around the lodge.  http://www.avo.alaska.edu/activity/Redoubt.php
