April 1st Rate changeAs of April 1st, we are starting our spring maintenance. The rates will change to a flat $75 per night per person
in the main lodge, and that will include all meals, but you may have to prepare them yourself on the antique wood fired cook
stove! The trappers cabin will remain the same. We are very busy this time of year, so we appreciate your patience
up front! We still have openings for April, and the days are long and the riding is excellent! We expect the bears
to be coming out of their dens soon! Check out Game Management Unit 13 for spring hunting around the lodge! We
encourage you to do your part to help fish & game work on predator control! The lodge is in Unit 13B and the link is here:

Volcano AshThe eruption of Mt Redoubt brought ash to much of South Central, even as far North as Healy. We did not see any ashfall
at the lodge or along the Denali Highway as of yet. Keep checking the Alaska Volcano Observatory website for the latest
updates and check with us for local information from around the lodge. http://www.avo.alaska.edu/activity/Redoubt.php

What a great riding year!!Wow, things have been going great at the lodge! We've had several guests since we opened up a month ago, and have
had nothing but great feedback on how things are running! Give us a call and book your winter adventure! We only
have a couple of months of snow left, and we'd love to see you! Jennifer

We are located at mile 68 of the Denali Highway, directly between Cantwell
and Paxson Alaska. This is in between the headwaters of the Susitna River and the Maclaren River, and the lodge is in
the Clearwater Mountains. From the lodge, you will have views of many lakes, and hundreds of square miles of Alaska.
Alpine Creek, which flows right past the lodge, is an artesian creek with some of the best water you've ever tasted.
The
lodge is located near many ATV trail heads. The abandoned Valdez mine is a short ride way, and offers a historical look
at the turn of the century town of Denali.
There are many
